Aww how cute, Reddit starts giving 'karma' points for your text-posts.
Apparently you now get fictional internet points for your text-posts, to bad you still can't spend them on the weekly groceries... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Too funny. Steemit has them quaking in their boots. Just watch, facebook is going to announce something similar very, very soon. Every service is going to have to add their own currency if they want to compete. Too bad their version will be lame and limited and useless.
The difference is that Facebook has billions of users and reddit has millions upon millions - both literally also have an army of employees. steemit is still in beta.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm all for steemit, but I'm not so sure it's they who have to do X or Y in order to compete and stay relevant, if they start offering something similar.
Fair point. I'm a bit of an exaggerator and blind optimist/pessimist :).
