Understanding the purpose of certain people coming to our life can be very painful sometimes. Most of the time we struggle because we can't comprehend it right away, and most of the time it seems very difficult to understand why they behave the way they do around us. It might be difficult to accept it at first, but if there is something we can't deny is the fact that it's not up to us to control how long others will be in our life or what the outcome of our experience with them will be. Let's keep in mind that every person out there is in a totally different journey with different tasks and goals to accomplish. Once somebody has served his/her purpose in our reality, no matter what we do or don't do, they all will disappear at some point in different ways. Especially those who are not longer a vibrational match to us any more.

Some people will leave joyful and painful marks in our hearts, some will transform who we are as people in all levels, and we won't ever forget some of them because of how they made us feel when they were around us. I think every single meeting with a person has a "particular" purpose for showing up, nobody is extra in this game. When we make an effort to not judge or label how people arrive, stay and leave our reality, we can reduce suffering and stress within ourselves. Especially when we experience situations that are out of our hands. For example, when people we care about pass away. It's a fact that not everyone will be in our reality 100% of the time, and not all the experiences with them will be pleasant either. And that's something we must accept and understand to be able to move forward no matter what situation we are in. We can label it the way we prefer; Family, friends, people, strangers, holographic representations, skin suits, etc., you choose the label. They all come differently; For seconds, for minutes, for hours, for days, for weeks, for months, for years, and some until the day we die.

From my perspective, there are 3 ways of seeing the purpose of a person in our reality; For a "lifetime", for a "temporary time" and for a "reason". The ones we meet for a "reason" is by far the most misunderstood of all, many ignore the amount of knowledge and experience that we can obtain from random meetings with others even if it is just for a very short period of time. These type of encounters are usually super short, these people come to our life for a very particular and unique reason. Either to trigger an emotional transformation in ourselves, to trigger a change in our way of thinking, to force us to take a different path, or to reflect an area of ourselves that we have been ignoring. I say this one is very misunderstood because we tend to judge and label the purpose of others appearing in our life right away. The thing is that with this type of people, the encounters usually don't make any sense until wayyy later when something reminds us why those people showed up in our reality before, and it all "clicks" in our heads at some point.

There are those who come to our life for a "temporary time", it is usually months or a few years. These people are the ones that will make us feel like we finally "found" what we are looking for, the ones who will help us grow in ways that we could not do by our own. These individuals are usually the ones who leave a mark in our hearts, because they only show up just to give us a little "taste" of what life can be like or to push us to the right path, it will feel VERY real. The interesting thing about this type is that no matter how much we try to keep these people around, they will disappear at some point, something will trigger their physical removal from our reality. Some of them will pass away, some of them will move to places far away from us, there will be a conflict that will trigger the break up of the friendship with them, etc. As soon as they give us all the pieces of the puzzle that we are supposed to get from them, boooom....they are gone.

And lastly, the ones who come to us for a lifetime. These are the ones who will make us feel as if they have a special place in our hearts, the ones who have challenged us in many ways since day one to help us grow, the ones who listened what we wanted to say no matter how "interested" they were, and the ones who have always been besides us for who we really are as people. Those type of people are the ones who are meant to be in our life for the long term. Not every experience with all of them will be the same, some might disappear for a few years and then come back, in some cases we might stop talking to some of them for a while for whatever reason, some will do everything they can to avoid being around us even for a bit. But at the end, we are always with the ones who will serve us best. It's up to us how we label or categorize every person we meet, once we keep that in mind, it becomes so much easier to forgive others for the way they acted around us or to reduce the suffering when the time to "let go" of our loved ones arrives.

There is always something to gain from others so we can have a better understanding of ourselves. We can learn from their words, body language, behavior, or the energy they project. Every person carries a piece of the puzzle that we need at the end of our journey, without having them in our life, we would not be who we are today. I personally don't believe in accidents, no matter how insignificant or pointless an encounter with somebody might appear on the outside, sometimes a person doesn't even have to speak to us or be physically close to trigger a "signature" feeling within ourselves, and I think those type of feelings are the ones that trigger different ways of thinking and changes our perception. it's all connected to the experience and not attached to the individual itself. Once we understand this, every person that comes to our life can be seen as a blessing or as a lesson. Every single one of them individually is part of our growing process, they all should be valued equally.
