I dont' think that steemit should be the Social Network of the year. Steemit did a bad job, for example they brought back ads to their site. There are other Steem based projects that did better. @busy.org for example or @steempeak
However I will still vote because this will help the Steem community to grow.

    Always any bad side of every platform. But steemit still worth to get support from Steemians.

    They could have just said "Steem" and that would have solved all the problems. The issue is education and I don't think we can be upset when half our own userbase use the word steemit when what they really want to say is Steem.
