RE: Time for a change - Hubpages.com - A Side Hustle, A Passive Income Stream
Paddygsound? I'm glad to know that I'm not the only Hubber here on the Steemit platform. I only have 19 articles published on HubPages, but what I've been doing is taking as many opportunities as I can to mention my HubPages articles in my Steemit articles and including links to them in my Steemit articles to drive traffic to them so that they will continue to earn commissions. The big advantage of HubPages over Steemit is that you continue earning commissions on your HubPages articles indefinitely, whereas you stop earning commissions on your Steemit articles after seven days. The disadvantage of HubPages as opposed to Steemit is that HubPages is stricter than Steemit about what you can and cannot publish on that platform.
I know that some people have been earning up to $3,000 a month on HubPages. That is not an easy goal to reach, but it can be done. Keep me posted on how everything is going for you on that platform. By the way, I upvoted your article. :-)
Sorry I didn't see your message until just now. I hope you are doing well on the hubpages. This is the first time I have logged into steemit in 3 years.
Thank you for responding. Things are starting to pick up on my HubPages channel now that I have 71 articles published on it all together. However, I'm still not where I want to be with HubPages. Nevertheless, I like writing and publishing articles on my HubPages channel.
It's interesting that you said that you haven't logged into Steemit in 3 years. Ever since I created my Hive account on the Hive platform, I've also been kind of lazy about posting anything on Steemit. LOL! Life just has a way of standing in the way of one's literary aspirations. Anyhow, it was nice hearing from you.
