RE: India Has The Highest Number of Facebook Users In The World—What Does It Mean For Steemit?

Great article @firepower!

The obvious presence and uprise of India in the realm of cryptocurrencies and especially in the case of our Steemit platform will create monumental cultural shifts as well as financial rewards for the whole ecosystem.

The presence of Eristica, D.Tube and the likes will blow the situation right out of the water for everyone's benefits. Thanks a lot for this update and great data underlining the importance of India's presence among the giants of telecommunication!

Namaste :)

According to the article there was a massive rise of Facebook users in the past one year , A big credit to that goes to Mr.Mukesh Ambani from Reliance for bringing the Jio internet services.(it was free for one year)
This move by him made India the largest consumer of the internet.😊

Great piece of information! Thanks a lot for sharing, I hope other people will read this comment thread.

If this thread has the above mentioned qualities.
Then Why not?

It is true. I am a German national living mostly in India and I have to say before JIO the Internet was EXPENSIVE and unreliable. Since JIO all the other providers get in line and upgrade their towers and their price-structure. Still JIO is the best offer with a huge distant to the second, which at the moment seems to be IDEA but that is a moving target as all the others change their "special offers" almost weekly. At 1 GB data per DAY for a meager 500 Rs a month (about US$ 8.-) this is still even better than anything you get in Germany.

Yes , Jio has been a complete Game Changer.
In the span of one year , it took over the entire indian market of mobile network providers.
Like you said , it was because of Jio , other network providers had to upgrade thier plan and towers.
But your slightly wrong about the Jio price structure .
For 459Rs you get 1gb/day for nearly 3 months.

You are right, my bad, thats even BETTER. :-))
