New features added to your Steemit profile make it even easier to understand where your payouts are coming from.

The devs have been on a roll this week, bringing out a new version of Steemit with some well thought-out changes to the payout schedules and some much-needed restrictions to prevent post spammers and sybil attacks, among other things.

Now, if you visit your user profile, you'll notice that your rewards are divided into Curation and Author categories:

If you were finding it as difficult as I was to keep track of your curation rewards and figure out how much you were making from curation and posting respectively, this new feature takes all the work out of it, even giving you a breakdown of your rewards in each category for the past 24 hours and the past week, as well as an estimated daily average. This is great for getting a much better sense of your average earnings without having to do all the math!

In addition to this new feature, there is also a plan to add a second Trending category for posts that begin trending during their second payout period of 30 days. This will be interesting to follow as a good indication of which posts have viral appeal and which have more staying power.

Thanks to the devs for another great feature that is sure to increase Steemit's user-friendliness and widespread appeal!

Excellent! I like the differentiation between Curation and Author rewards. So what about adding a break-out for mining?

It is quite a nice added feature!

Thanks for the guidelines you have provided here

Thanks for pointing out the new rewards stats features, I've been hoping for this for quite awhile now...this is great stuff.
