Why i want to DELETE my Steemit account but it wont let me.
that's gonna be a short story,for my reasons I m thinking of quiting steeemit but cant seem to find out how to do that!
The reason I wanna quit is that it looks to me likes steemit is only days/weeks away of becoming elitistic community with just a few sparks of poor people getting some SBD

Steemit is only a web frontend for the steem blockchain. Blockchains are (mostly) immutable. That's why you can't delete accounts, or posts.
There are many different block chain social media block chain platform on the drawing board. yes steemit is just a reddit version. synereo will be the ultimate social media because of being paid for sharing post..watch the space in September it goes alpha.

You can quit using the platform, but due to the blockchain nature of this platform I believe that it is impossible to remove your accounts or contributions.
