Do we know how to read? How to be a better reader in Steemit?
Through all this time of knowing ourselves on many occasions, I have noticed that reading and writing is something like talking and listening, when we are receptive we can transmit messages with the most reliable quality, but if we do not, the message is Distorted or null in the worst case scenario.
The secret to good writing is in reading.
Without good readers there are no good writers and vice versa, it is a cycle that has no end, we have read about how to be good writers within this beautiful social network called #steemit , but how many have we learned to be good readers?
Here I will give some guidelines to improve our role within this cyclical activity of contribution and retribution for growth within this platform but mainly of personal growth and our development as human beings, reading is fundamental part of how we understand our world, we interpret the Ideas of others and interact as thinking beings.
As in other arts, in the art of reading there are several degrees of efficiency. There are three types of readers,
Which in general terms are: 1.-The simple reader. He is no more than a simple reader, he reads without any particular purpose. It is easy prey of the commercial propaganda and its opinion is formed on the basis of trending topics.
2.-The reader who wishes to learn, and who considers the post valuable because of the merit, accuracy and usefulness of information they contain. Its main purpose is to obtain greater and ever better understanding of the facts.
3.-Thin and intelligent reader. Access information as a means to purify your taste, to deepen your feelings, to broaden your sympathies and to increase your joy in life. She loves literacy because she is the most human of the arts. Share the knowledge gained.
I hope you are a fine and intelligent reader.
But if you are not you can become. The ability to get to read with profit is not a natural gift, but one that can be acquired.
Reading is the first source of ideas and constructive thinking, since the happiest people are those who cultivate the most interesting and beautiful thoughts, learn to read.
Any time is good.
History is full of examples of those who attained wisdom and often success and fortune, because they learned to take advantage of free time to read good writing.
Daily half hour no more is needed
Everyone can use their own time however they want. But I suggest that you decide to spend at least thirty minutes a day reading. It is something that even the busiest person can do.
Then while you are on the road or work, meditate on what you read.
If you do this you will be astonished to see all that can be done in the precious free time that others waste. And the best thing is that: your friends and followers and even yourself, you will notice that your words and personality are agitated.
Reading is the best path that leads to intellectual and spiritual excellence. Reading is to exercise the spirit and create mental schemes of order and discipline of thought.
I really appreciate your time coming in, reading, commenting and giving me your vote up, thank you very much to everyone for your support.
With love
I have been inspired to read more and started on that path about 8 months ago. It's easy to get distracted and just let things happen. Deliberately pursuing information and wisdom by reading is worth doing.
I hope to write more about this on steemit once I start publishing posts.
