So Before I Delete My YouTube Channel..
I'm up late, went down a YouTube hole and returned back to my channel. For over a year I made videos every week, mostly precious metals related and some just absolutely rediculous videos aswell. I had just under 1k subs and over 100k views, I also had just about that many nicknames I gave myself such as "The Silver Dollar Pimp" here's an intro I made of myself riding into a vid..
I haven't uploaded a single vid since I joined up here on Steemit. Why would I?.. YouTube's monetization policy started to piss me off, I'd accidentally swear and have my videos flagged, I showed an army man in a video and had it demonitized aswell because apparently I was promoting war by playing in the grass with a plastic toy I found outside? I don't know?..
My channel was a bit different I'd like to think than most of the other silver and gold stacking videos. I drew alot and would do these wacky series some here may remember? Here's a 30 second taste..
Anyways I'm going to delete my channel as soon as I get my last Adsense payment but some of my vids I will miss, alot of the people I associated with have joined me here on Steemit.
Vulcan5678 is one of them in in this video and here's a short video of an absolutely amazing piece I thought I'd share if anyone want to check it out here it is..* EDIT Fuck! Now I realise this is a longer video that I made earlier showing different pieces I ordered from Vulcan not the one I thought I was posting..too late now it's on the chain forever
I also used to shoutout alot of other channels and try to get attention for other quality members of the community. I made one that still kinda makes me laugh.
Here I'm "The Prime Minister of Precious Metals"..
So I will kinda miss my channel but I'm still going to delete it soon. Steemit has been a blessing because now I can get some of my creativity out here and unlike YouTube I can do all sorts of different things, whereas on YouTube if I posted anything that wasn't metals related recieved alot of dislikes. Here everyone loves me 😝

Why not just let it sit there idle man? Why delete it and leave the big void where your channel used to be. I still remember the one when you measure those icicles with the damn pizza pocket, I think I spit out whatever I was drinking at the time, when you pulled that damn thing out.
It just feels like now I'm not adding any new content I should delete it. Idk I'm weird?.
Idc about any money I'd make leaving it there but I do appreciate you saying that I made ya laugh! It was alot of fun but I got bitter w YouTube and the all the trolls at the end. Im glad alot of the awesome members like you are here now so we can still chat!
I'd just leave it there idle, it'll be fun to show someone one day I'm sure. Or it could come in handy when your being interview in a couple years for being one of the top members her on steemit and you wanna show your early days or something, just seams too final for me to delete it, but I do also have hording tendencies and can't let anything go. So maybe it's not the best advice...lol.
Haha hoarder! Yeah I'm 99% sure killing it would make me feel better than leaving it abondoned my friend. I'm just so glad I found Steemit, this is more fun and I can do all kinds of different stuff. I only have time for one and Steemit wins
Give it some time,the decision to get ride of all that content and hard work is pretty big. I wouldn't.

I don't think I will ever delete mine, I have hundreds of videos there, of all my cooking, cake decorating, baking, arts and crafts tutorials
That would be too crazy for me to delete them, they are my backups should something goes wrong with my original files 😳

I have a couple more, one especially for my pregnancy and the birth of my kids

And no, I wasn't being greedy, I often forget my emails and passwords and would create new ones...then would find my passwords 😅
My vids were mostly low quality, low brow and everything I featured I still have so it's no real loss. It was fun and I met a ton of people there that I still correspond with 👍😎 That's the best part!
I agree with Phelimint... It should stay up for archival purposes. Who cares if you don't post new vids. The AI of tomorrow depends on the unattended data of today :P
Lol u make a good argument but I'm fairly certain there's nothing of value in that data. Plus it'll make room for more important information to be stored 😂
@goldenarms don't go to bed yet you light weight. I feel the same way about YouTube that you do. I am not deleting my channel but for all the effort that U and I put into making Content I hope the PEDO's over at Google (Eric Schmidt) enjoyed their little Parties on US.............STEEMIT is the answer for FREEDOM !!
It's 3 am, YouTube can lick my bung hole but the people I've met there are great. And yes Steemit absolutely blows YT out of the water as far as being allowed to exercise free speech and see real rewards for our time
I stopped making YouTube videos after they Demonitized me. Im leaving Channel open to once in a while make video about how much more 💰 I made on Steemit
