I'll be live streaming the Adelaide Steemit Meetup!
Hey Steemit,
Tonight, we have the first official monthly Steemit meet up for the city of Adelaide, Australia. In just six hours from now (well, five and a half) - we will have a massive group of Steemians descend upon the Jade Monkey, in Flinders St, Adelaide. if you don't know where it is, look for the Steem Mobile, pictured below. It will be parked outside.
For those in Adelaide, that'll be 6PM as the time we'll start gathering. For those in the Eastern, Australian states, that will be 5:30PM for you. I'll be streaming for as long as my batteries last, and plan to run an "introduce the Steemian".
Another post will go live with the actual link to the stream when this streaming event starts. Streaming may not start on the dotted line, subject to set up. We'll be live as of the post announcing as such though!

Nice, it seems like there are more and more steemit meetups these days. How many people are you expecting? Will everyone be plotting how to take over the platform or more of just a friendly meetup? haha
It'll be a friendly meet up. We do want to occupy Steem with the fine and brilliant minds of people from Adelaide, though!
Adelaide is South Australia’s cosmopolitan coastal capital. That's the plan - hopefully the technology doesn't betray us. Its going to be a warmish night, and we'll see if the surface is capable and can live up to the grueling conditions of a sunny beer garden!
