If You're Giving 0 & 1 % Upvotes, Why Bother Voting? (Plus Know Your Vote's Worth & More)
Yes, it happened. I saw 0 % and 1 % upvotes on my posts. What should I feel after seeing those upvotes?

For the purpose of keeping the names secret, I am not sharing the screenshot here. But I do have request to make.
Please do not bother upvoting my posts if you're giving 0 % upvotes.
I'd go a step ahead and request you not upvote at all if you can't be a little generous.
I wonder if people from @minnowsupport project are doing it. I strongly think that's the case. You may want to have a look, @aggroed on your great project.
How to View Worth of Your Upvote?
Simply go to www.steemnow.com and enter your username in the settings. You can see following stats:-
- Worth of your 100 % vote.
- Your wallet holdings.
- Daily Rewards
- Remaining Voting Power
- Latest Upvotes on your posts.

I really don't understand.
If somebody reserves the big votes for the really good content, and then some for his or her own content and interactions, for example - rewarding comments, there really might not be enough left to upvote other content which might be of interest.
People don't have to upvote you, you know.
I typically upvote comments with between 5% and 10%, with 100% upvoting for something which I think deserves extra. there isn't really that much left if someone wants to interact a lot in the comments.
If someone upvoted me with 0% or 1%, I certainly would not be unhappy about it.
If you think the amount of money involved is too little, then just regard it as a "Like".
That's another way of looking at it and I appreciate your opinion. I won't negate it because it came from a place of openness and generosity.
My point of view was based on generosity (or the lack of it) too. If I look at it the way you've said, those upvotes are upvotes and they should mean a lot. Thanks for adding your opinion. Readers will have more to choose from and I will be happy if they go with your way of thinking.
Agree entirely with your point, especially the last sentence.
"likes" are always free and have no real value, upvotes mostly offer a useful reward when accumulated for the 7 days, at which time you see REAL rewards, not phony FB Bullsh!t.
If we are happy with FB "like" why can we not be happy with ANY upvotes.

How to increase your upvote power. I donot even know what my vote percent is.
Influence (and worth) of upvotes can only be increased by having more Steem Power. Vote percentage with all users who have less than 500 SP is 100 %. I hope your queries are clear.
That gives you a mere 10 votes a day if you don't have 500SP, because all your upvotes are automatically at 100% of your power. For those lucky to have 500SP or more they get to chose the percent to give an upvoted post, this allows many more votes if they chose to lower the percent of each one, thereby allowing more voting on more content (content includes posts and comments) , This is good.
There's an app on Play Store and App Store called ESTEEM. Voting percentage can be changed in that app even if there isn't 500 SP. The app is new and laggy though and will need maturity.
