Police Officer Died in Traffic Accident, Car Lost Control and Hit Tree

A police officer named Brigadier Ramces Suhendro Napitupulu died in a traffic accident on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Pekanbaru City, Riau.

Head of Traffic Unit (Kasatlantas) Pekanbaru Police AKP Angga Wahyu Prihantoro said the police officer had an accident early this morning at around 01.00 WIB, Sunday (11/14/2021).

"The victim suffered abrasions on the left cheek, abrasions on the stomach, abrasions on both knees and bruises on the left abdomen. The victim died while on the way to the hospital," Angga said when confirmed by Kompas.com via WhatsApp message, Sunday.

However, the victim hit a motorcycle driven by Yanto Eka Putra in front of him.

"After hitting a motorcycle, the victim lost control and hit a tree outside the road," said Angga.
The police officer was seriously injured and died. The motorcyclist suffered lacerations to his face, right hand and both legs.

The survivors have been given medical treatment at the Pekanbaru Prima Hospital.

Based on the results of the crime scene (TKP), said Angga, the accident was caused by a car driver, Ramces Suhendro Napitupulu, who was not careful.

"The car driver was not careful, and did not concentrate while driving, resulting in an accident," said Angga.
