when my flagging bot goes live for my personal account, comments like this that are <15 bytes will get autoflagged.

Do as you wish but we all know that until the cost for upvote vs downvote are aligned almost no no negative curation but your bot will take place.

Ehh, I think there's a lot of stake out there that doesn't vote that isn't currently benefitting from curation rewards. Putting it to good flagging use could be beneficial.

what is your problem man? i opened my account 3 days ago. i was trying to learn something and you down voting me. good job my friend. i am leaving steemit because of you.👏👏👏

This is the comment that was downvoted by @sneak with a voting weight of 126,369 SP at a power of 100%:

The downvote brought @ironstone's account reputation score from 25 down to 8. @ironstone deleted the comment after, so the downvote can't be countered on that comment anymore.

thanks for your support @pfunk. i just wrote "good job my friend :)" and this man down voted my reply. what kind of a sickness is this?

there are not any warnings about that:
https://steemit.com/welcome

and i did not beg for anything.

A flag on a zero value comment doesn't really do anything positive nor negative.

However, it is good user feedback that the UI still makes it look and feel very punishing when in fact it means nothing. Thank you for sharing your mind.

A full power downvote from sneak brought his reputation score from 25 to 8. That's a negative effect.

I was also downvoted by @sneak. So I decided to delete my comment. I really really dont understand what happen with me? @blacklist-a downvoted me also. You're my witness @pfunk. Thank you because of your voice. Good bye @sneak. I will never leave any comments on your post from now on...

That seems like it's going to have a lot of false positives. Maybe you can leave it up to the people who are being replied to to curate their comments.

PS: They're downvotes.

I was the one being replied to. I curated it. How is this not what you described?

You mentioned a bot to automatically downvote all comments <15 bytes.

Sneaky little shit

you are ridiculous! Start down voting people who are actually reading your posts. Its not like there are many.

not just removing the ability to leave <15 byte comments?

This is a blockchain; you can do whatever you want. So can I. That's the beauty of it!

Absolutely right, you can do whatever you want, no censorship, it's all within the game and the rules.

Yet, the way the community leaders behave on the platform reflects heavily on the community as a whole. As CTO I think you should be considered one of the leaders here.

You can do what you want. And the community will be strengthened or damaged by your actions.

Good luck!

Remember. He isn't CTO but a private contractor. Per Ned

What exactly is a 15 byte response? It is a word or letter count? Do it have to say something nice? I just don't get it
