What are your hopes for steemit?
Hi everyone!
I was recently having a conversation with a friend of mine talking about steemit. He wasn't aware of what steemit was, but is getting heavily involved in the Crypto and Bitcoin world. So I explained and we had a good conversation about how now we are seeing steemit results on google more and everything. Then he asks me this question which leads me to this post.
Are the people on steemit now only on it for the crypto investment side or is this the next social network/ blogging outlet?
Right away I said obviously people do have the investment attachment to it, but this is much more than that. People can build a presence for their blog, read news, interact with people of similar interests and make a little money (hopefully a lot) doing it!
So what are you hear for? Are you invested or are you trying to build your blog/photography and personal brand?
I love steemit. No I don't make $1000 a post (fingers cross it happens) but being able to interact with such and amazing community and hopefully help each build something special! Please let me know, I am interested to see the why and how people found steemit!

I'm simply here hoping to learn how this functions on a deeper level and maybe luck out with a tip on a good new crypto. This place seems to have it all, lol. I just saw a clear scam by some guy, then another great post about "potential" btc future prices. It really runs the spectrum. I hope to meet and build some working relationships on here cause in this trade, it's 100% WHO you know, not what. Insider trading? pshhhhhhhh, that's for the regulated world hahaha.

Check out Reddcoin, it hasn't done much yet but on their website they have the roadmap people are pretty high on it for Q3.
