Screamin’ Streamin’ -- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

What would have happened if the mission in Terminator 2 failed?

What if Arnold Schwarzenegger hadn't been able to prevent Skynet from being created?

Well, that's easy. A TV show would have to be created, and we'd have to do it all over again.

This time though, Sarah Connor would be really hot.

John Connor would be a typical emo teen from 2008 (when the show was created emo was everywhere.)

The Terminator sent from the future, known as Cameron and played by Summer Glau, would be really cute and seriously underpowered… at least when it came to fighting other Terminators... like the T-888 known as Cromartie.

Unlike Arnold Schwarzenegger's character, she does not immediately assume that she is going to win every fight. Or any fight. She will always assume that there is a chance that she can lose. That's because she is 5’ 6” and has a much smaller frame than the other male Terminators. It's an interesting concept, and one that the creators do correctly. I like it. She is still strong, but she isn't necessarily going to win every fight and she knows it. Cool.

This show is great. It definitely has its problems because it gets a little overly dramatic. It's not a perfect show but if you're looking for a Sci-Fi adventure that's a couple of seasons long and stars some pretty girls, and I guess handsome guys as well, you really can't go wrong here. I will say that some might consider this show to be behind the times. After all, there really is no reason to send a young girl Terminator back in time instead of a strong male version. She's much smaller after all. Except for the idea that John Connor might more easily accept her into his Friendship Circle… but of course the real idea here is that viewers, male viewers, will be interested in looking at a cute girl. Of course she's not nearly as cute as Lena Headey who plays Sarah Connor in this iteration.

This is a great fun Sci-Fi show. It’s not particularly deep, but it is particularly cool. It has a lot of good looking characters in it, and it’s overall enjoyable. I think you'll really like it.

It's available to stream on Hulu right now.
