You raise some important points, but at the end of the day I guess you have to be the change you would like to see. There is undeniably a huge incentive for people to post in ways weighing quantity above quality - the millionaire-overnight-attitude you mention. I may have an idealistic view on this, but I am a firm believer that if you consistently produce quality content on topics which you are passionate about, you will eventually attract readers. There is not necessarily anything wrong with the content you mention, it is just a problem if the content which interests you drowns as a result. I hope we will see much more curated streams of content allowing those who do dedicate time and passionately share their ideas, thoughts or experiences with us.
