Stephen Hawking has now embarked upon solving the universe's most puzzling riddle: what happens after death. I'd like to think that if anyone is capable of making sense of that, Hawking is the one. His most enduring contribution will be encouraging others to think. His theories will continue to be explored and appreciated for centuries.
