Welcome to Steemit, I think you will find that the amount of development going into STEEM will result in it having as high a potential as any of the other top tier coins (BTC, ETH). There are some amazing things going on here, and this will be so much more than just a social blogging site.

    We must be a bit patient as the developers still have some things left on their roadmap before they really start advertising.
