Why I think Steemit is the most exciting part about Crypto Currency right now!!!!

in #steemit8 years ago

Ever since I first became involved in the Crypto space I realized that there are so many technological innovations and opportunities to make money in the space. One thing I realized early on was that monetizing social media through crypto currency and the blockchain was going to be a huge market.

I only heard of Steemit about a week ago, when the crypto currency Steem broke into the top 3 cryptos by market cap. Before then I had only heard of Akasha, a similar social media platform based on the Ethereum blockchain. I did not realize that Steemit had already been monetizing social media for about 3-4 months.

Monetizing social media through crypto currency and the blockchain is such a revolution because now bloggers/writers can get directly compensated by their viewers for their content. In the past, bloggers and creative writers would mostly depend on advertisements for payment or other sponsorships. Now they can get paid directly by their viewers and how much they get paid is based on how many people like their post.

Technologies like these is going to revolutionize the way the new generation makes money. This creates so much more opportunity for creative types than there was before. Now creatives can get paid directly for the efforts.

It's surprising that not more people know about Steemit yet, considering how little people use the platform. It really surprises me because if anyone on YouTube with over 100,000 subscribers would just make a video telling their users to join they could easily make $1000s just by posting a simple video on YouTube.

I have never written a blog before, I am only doing this because I want to show people how they can make money by doing this. I use social media like Instagram and Twitter to tell people how they can make money with crypto currency. It's awesome that now I can actually make some money just by posting videos where I talk about crypto currency.

In conclusion I think that it's a really exciting time to be a part of the Steemit community because it is so new. I hope to teach as many people as possible about how they can use Steemit to make some money and how anyone can be a positive contributor to the community.
