Educating steemit kids through life experiences: scoobytaz and dubbsilly 'avin it large at their first live gig...Dreadzone LLangollen fringe festival
A couple of weeks ago me and my partner took our two boys 'dubb-silly' and 'Scooby Taz'to their first ever live gig..
DREADZONE
If you don't know of them you should they've released many albums and been big on the festival scene since 1993 they're an eclectic mix of dub, reggae, teckno, folk and rock
Dreadzone were amazing!!
We were quite worried at first just in case they wouldn't be allowed in due to our kids being 9 and 10 years old . They didn't have any kids tickets available so we'd paid full price.
We didn't need to worry people were coming up to us shacking our hands pleased to see kids about. The atmosphere was electrifying, buzzing!
Here's a little video of our two boys 'avin it right at the front in the mosh pit. The place was rammed but there was a semi circle of people naturally protecting our kids so they couldn't get hurt and they could enjoy their first gig!
What made the gig especially special for us was I managed to chat to Loki (one of their crew) and asked if they would be playing the boys favourite song 'captain dread' he said they were at the end I said fantastic the boys would be chuffed! I pointed them out and he asked their names he then went and told the band. The lead singer MC Smee then made a big point of chatting to them and dedicating song's to them. To top it all off they signed their play lists for them! What an amazing night and what an amazing band!
This is a better video of the gig from you tube.....
One of the best rock groups where fate though is similar to fate that is and is this rigid melody like hard rock where people can shout that that average. Generally, they are really abrupt
