Steemit Challenge DAY 2 - We Are Pioneers

The future is in our hands.

As of writing this, I've been on Steemit for just under one day, and after a warm welcome by MANY other users, something finally hit me. Those of us who are on Steemit at this early of a stage is kind of awesome to think about. We are the first generation of users on a platform with LOTS of potential to quickly outpace the competition.

The situation that we're in right now is like that of being one of the first people on YouTube, or Twitter, or Facebook. If there's any time to start building an online presence, an online EMPIRE, now's the time. Just being on the platform for a day, it looks somewhat like Reddit, where users upvote content they deem worthy of notoriety.

Those who are creating content right now are paving the roads that will be traveled by so many more in the future, and to think about what we're doing right now having a scope that large in the future blows my mind. So I ask the question to all of you.

Who are you gonna be?

This is an opportunity like no other. This isn't a Facebook, where everyone we know already has an account, where EVERYBODY knows exactly who they are. I don't know who I am yet, and I'm not going to wait to find out.

So here's to all of those of the 1st generation of Steemians.

Here's to all the Pioneers.
