RE: WT... Why. do I keep losing money, replies don't stick, buffering continues and I cant upvote others?

Yep, we're in a bit of a rough patch here at the moment. I've dialed back my usage a bit due to the frustration. But it's got to get fixed eventually. In the meantime, there are other ways to access the same steem blockchain. busy.org seems to be the most popular but I haven't tried it yet. I just keep hoping everyday that this is the day things are back to smooth sailing. I've been here since almost the beginning and I'm not going anywhere. It's a rollercoaster for sure, but that's the thrill. :)

What is busy.org @kenny-crane? I looks to me like it is Steemit. I am confused, can you help me out with that?

Think of it like this. There is data and then there is a way to do things with the data. The Steem blockchain holds the data. The Steemit.com website lets you view the data and add more data by posting, commenting and voting. Anyone can make something similar to steemit.com that works with the exact same data on the Steem blockchain. Busy.org is one such website that is similar to steemit.com and accesses the same exact data.

That said, steemit.com might now be more responsive. They have implemented a new way to interact with the steemit blockchain. If you hear about Jussi, that is it. So let's see how things work here on steemit the next few days. For me, its much much better already!

@kenny-crane Can i post the same post on Busy.org and on Steemit.com? are they different, or do they go to the same place?

ps. I notice folks upvote for good comments, but what about good questions? lol, thats how i make my living, setting up others for a good answer from a good question, lol.

They both go to the same place and can be viewed, commented and voted on at both places. There's no telling what people will up vote, and even when you think you know, they can change! Not everyone is here every day, our vote power keeps changing so if we're low we may not vote, and our feed is long so we may miss posts. And it takes much longer to conceive of, and compose a comment. Especially with the site issues lately. People will be more likely to interact once they know you. Bring your current fans, but they will not have much voting power when they are new. Spend most of your time commenting on others' stuff here, as I think that's the best way to get people to know you. Best wishes! :)

Darn, i had 0.03 upvote, but now it just went to 0.02 when i just upvoted you... arg

I appreciate the vote! Actually I think we have 3 decimal places in this currency so maybe went from 0.030 to 0.029 :) With Bitcoins, there are 8 decimal places, so the lowest amount you can have is one-hundred millionth of a Bitcoin. It even has a name, its called a Satoshi in honor of this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto

This is fascinating @kenny-crane. I learn more each day! I need to buy more BTS, they are doing well!

Thanks @kenny-crane, I will keep doing that. I appreciate that!
