HOW TO AVOID GETTING FLAG ON STEEMIT? (FOR BEGINNERS)

Hello guys! How are you doing? I've been using Steemit for about a day. At first, I didn't really get all the rules of this website. I've submitted a few stories that have been flagged because I forgot to put the sources, or some comments, and so on. I'm really sorry about that, but as a beginner, like I said, I didn't know all of this and I surely didn't have the basics of how to use this website.
So if you're new to Steemit and you keep getting those flags on each one of your post, this post is for you.

RULE #1:
OBVIOUSLY, but not this much because I've been there, you CAN'T put a picture or an article you took from the internet into your post (I mean copy paste) if you don't put the sources of the contents in your posts. Don't forget that, it's really important. Always post sources you're quoting from, and preferably provide some original writeup of your own in addition to the link to the source article, even if it's just a summary of the article or highlighting a point you found particularly salient. Copy-pasting the full source text is lazy and kind of a jerk move.

RULE #2:
DO NOT put tags that aren't relevant to your posts. You will get flag for this. That may be garnering you some downvotes too.

RULE #3:
DO NOT try to impersonate someone. They will ask you for a identity verification and you will get flags for this either.

RULE #4:
DO NOT beg for money. People on Steemit don't like this at all. You will get flag and a bad reputation.

If your respect those 4 rules, I think you will be able to avoid those flags that we all dislike. Hope this post will be useful to you all! Have a nice day and welcome on Steemit!

You forgot one:

Rule #5: Don't spam people in order to get upvotes. (You'd think that rule was too obvious. Unfortunately, the world is full of idiots, and steem is not an exception.)

Good post... @kevbonneau follow me back...

I agree with you, that why source is important

I was wondering about the flag but now i know. thank you!
