What is Steemit
Steemit is a crypto social media news platform based on blockchain techanology.
In 2016 . Ned Scott and Dan Larimer, creator of BitShares. start the steemit community.
Name is the Steemit Inc.
The basic concept is similar to the blogging websites or social news websites such as Reddit, but unique point is the text content is saved in a blockchain.
By using blockchain . give rewarding comments and posts with secure tokens of value.
Images can be uploaded and posted on Steemit.
Users can upvote posts and comments, and share
Rewards are for both authors and voters
Reward such as a cryptocurrency token named STEEM and US dollar tokens called Steem Dollars.
Rewards are infuenced by steem power of each voter and steem powers are influenced by reputation of users.
Reputation system,new accounts start with a reputation of 25.
And then reputation can increase by getting vote and followers.
You can get your rewards after 7 days of your activities.
Your rewards can sell at bittrex exchanger and can get bitcoin for you.
