A few weeks ago we introduced the MAGIC token on our platform. The MAGIC token allows us to reward the community and share our profits with the community. For more information about the MAGIC token, read our token introduction post.
Dividends for MAGIC Token Holders
The MAGIC token was created to reward the community with dividends. From now on MAGIC token holders will receive daily dividends. We have revised the dividend payout structure from our original announcement. The new dividend payout structure distributes more rewards to the community at this early stage of the project. We have analyzed different projects and tokens to find the best dividend model that allows us and our community the best chance for success and growth.
40% of the Profits to MAGIC Token Holders
MAGIC dice distributes 40% of the profits to all MAGIC token holders. The dividends are distributed on a daily basis.
Dividends are only distributed to issued community token holders. That means tokens reserved for the project or team aren't included.
Referral rewards still have priority and are paid first. After that the profits are split between Magic Dice and the community.

The dividends are credited to your unclaimed dividends balance every day. You can claim your dividends on the dividends page when you log in. They will be sent directly to your account after claiming.

The dividend and token system was designed so that the more you play/wager the more tokens and dividends you will receive.
There are players who played/wagered a lot more than others, thus they have more tokens.
@powerguy has played from the beginning and has wagered the most and thus has the largest share of tokens.
On gambling/dice sites there are players who can afford to play with millions of dollars. That's a lot more than the average player. On those websites the players don't receive any kind of dividends or shares. That may surprise you, but some people just like to gamble with vast sums for fun. That's why the online gambling industry is a 50 billion dollar industry.
We haven't made any deals and there are no insider accounts. That wouldn't make much sense. If we wanted to lower the dividends/shares for the community, we could have just done so. Sharing 10-30% of the profits would have been fine as well. That would have been easier than gaming our own system.
Magic Dice is still at an very early stage. The majority of the tokens hasn't been distributed yet. There are still enough tokens left.
We ask you to stop spamming our posts and harassing our users. Calling yourself abusereports and abusing the blocking by spamming doesn't support your argument. Posting hundreds of comments doesn't make your argument more valid either.

I intentionally lost about 100 Steems for MAGIC tokens. And I am very poor. It is no wonder for me that there are whales who swapped their Steems for Magic in a much bigger scale.

the distribution of Token seemed fair to me, I even saw in comments that it was worth playing with a 94% chance to win and thus get more token and then get a profit

Does ANYONE believe that an account with only 100k SP would waste 1.5X that on a shitty dice site just to accrue some worthless MAGIC tokens?
Any chance for those of us that are getting very very small payouts, possibly dust, the option of accumulating dividends and then have a payout now button to payout our dividends once we have enough.
Other possibilities is payout dividends once a month or payout dividends at x Steem that we can set on our own.
The dividends accumulate, even very small payouts. When you have at least 0.001 STEEM, you are able to claim them.

Guys! Amazing, got my fist dividends and a quick calculations tells me it takes only 100 days to 'earn back' my investment if this is about the average. From then on it's going to give me ROI! Truly love it.

That sounds about right, 100 days to get investment back, that was the same with Eos and Tron dapps- but now they are pretty much all dead already! :)
No advertisement was all their failures, and to just make a few adds into the crypto space only and not the outside world is just a disaster hahahah
ROI? Investment? This is a gambling site not a investment. Its a game which has a reward if you play the game this is not a investment! If I go to a caisino and play slot machines its not a investment even if they give me something for free for playing.
:) These games arn't new, Eos did it firstly and then Tron, now Steem... just 4 months later than eos and tron dapps..
There is a term known as "mining" with these gambling dapps, which means that anyone can set it to a 95% chance of winning, and then "mine" the dapp's tokens with a minimal loss, and thus can be seen as an investment because after all you are owning shares in the gambling site which will be paying you dividends.
For example, I managed to get 2.3 million MAGIC, and it cost me pritty much nothing at all, but now the bonus rate has changed dramatically since I did it.
I'm not into gambling, I'm into investing in the crypto world, and when our DEX is up we shall see many copy's of MagicDice, and also new tokens, new mining and mining stages, etc etc.. History repeats itself.. :)

Hi Tim I’ll jump in on this I believe not at this time they are only being distributed as you play . They cannot be traded or sold yet . They will be tradable once they convert them to SMT. My average cost per token so far is .00021 pennies per token that can go up or down depending on luck. The distribution rate is currently at 25 tokens per Steem wagered . When they reach 20% distribution of the 4.9 billion tokens that equals 980,000,000 tokens it will halve again to 12.5 tokens per Steem risked. And continue to halve every time 5% of tokens have been distributed . I expect next halving in about a week . Magic On and Steem On!
