Perspective Change - Hurricane Irma

So, after going through Hurricane Irma, we (Wife & I) have changed what we are looking for in buying a house here in #florida. Sure we went through the last hurricane but Irma was different and had the potential to devastate more of the state. So what we thought as being "OK" to start off with is now not. Plus we now will only look at homes that are brick and mortar rather then wood framed. We would only look at a wood framed houses if they have a "safe room"

Its funny how a single point in time can change your whole perspective on things.

Our list of must haves are the following:

• high speed internet (100mbp+)
• 2 or preferably a 3 car garage
• brick and mortar or safe room
• pool, unless close to beach

Now we just have to wait until our house is sold and we can get our Florida home.
