The Cafe Near Boardwalk - Tanjay City, Negros oriental, Philippines

This is one of my favorite places that I have occasionally visited since I've been home. The food is good. The owner of the restaurant is a former flight attendant at Cathay Pacific. Like me, she is a cancer survivor as well. She was my niece and classmate from primary school until secondary school. We both worked and lived in the same places as far as I can remember. Now, we both are retirees. Twice a year, we reunite with our classmates in secondary year. We just had some fun together, remembering the good old days of our youth.

Este es uno de mis lugares favoritos que he visitado ocasionalmente desde que llegué a casa. La comida es buena. El dueño del restaurante es un ex asistente de vuelo de Cathay Pacific. Como yo, ella también es una sobreviviente de cáncer. Fue mi sobrina y compañera de clase desde primaria hasta secundaria. Ambos trabajábamos y vivíamos en los mismos lugares que yo recuerde. Ahora ambos somos jubilados. Dos veces al año nos reunimos con nuestros compañeros de secundaria. Nos divertimos juntos, recordando los buenos tiempos de nuestra juventud.
