We just booked our first photoshoot paid for by $teem!!!!
Tonight, we received a call from a fellow Steemian, @sylviategan, inquiring as to whether or not we would accept Steem dollars as payment for a couple of portrait sessions. Uhm...does a bear shit in the woods?!? Lol! We were ecstatic at the idea of this proposal! Not only do both parties benefit from this transaction, but it stimulates a small, yet meaningful part of the Steemit economy and provides future creative content for all of us! :) :) :)
It's so amazing that this community has implemented an outlet for people to connect through various trades and that it provides the currency to do so! We are absolutely thrilled to be paid in Steem for doing something that we love!
YES! Very exciting and of benefit to us both!!! Sadly, I have not been on Steemit lately (you can read why here: https://steemit.com/life/@sylviategan/why-i-ve-been-m-i-a)....I had some SBD that were just sitting here. I had ideas for a couple photo shoots but no spare cash. Knowing that Jason and Mel are AWESOME photographers I had the idea to ask them if the'd take SBD in exchange for 2 shoots. Plus, I didn't ever figure out how to actually get SBD off of Steemit and into my pocket, so they helped with that too! :D It's SUPER neat that we are using this platform and Steem dollars as commerce! Can't wait for the photo shoots and to see them both!!!!!
