The number of real reads also matters.
It's too simple. Taking away the upvotes for a while, why not to see how many reads have my post. Actually if the upvoting is removed from the feed, the number of reads (which is something real) will stop working. Yes, it is just for information, but it's important for the people who simply write posts. It just could show real information and this is very important.
I have had more than a few posts voted on within seconds of posting, clearly no human read them.

Actually the live voting machines are opening the articles and give their upvotes manually especially on the highest rating users. Although this is just a peace for thinking. I just need real information when I read or write.
