Travel Channel - Thailand
I just watched an amazing travel show on Thailand and some of the foods. OMG now I am really getting excited about the food and learning how to cook some. One of the secrets is the basil they use, much different than the type we use in the USA. Their Pad Thai was actually invented about 75 years ago, when Siam became Thailand, to encompass all of the special crops of Thailand. The show focused on Bangkok, which is one of the places we are going so now I have some names of places to eat at.
Their traditional dessert is mango with sweet rice, it looks amazing!!!
Getting more excited by the day, 9 days until I fly out.
