Second Steemit Account

After trying to upload a profile picture, I discovered that my entire Settings menu disappeared. I tried to find some help but none seemed to be available. I think the problem was that my picture was hosted on Facebook.

Anyway, I had previously applied for a second account, after growing impatient with waiting for approval. So I got that second account going, using another user name; and fortunately the settings menu was displayed as normal. This time I hosted my picture on CTRLQ.org with no problems.

I am wondering if I have committed a cardinal sin and will be penalised.
