The Task:

Write a short review of a play about a girl from one gang who falls for a boy from another gang.
Just stick to these instructions, apart from that, everything is up to yourself. Make up the missing parts, and create a convincing piece of text. To participate in the contest, submit your Story under the #writingchallenge tag and link it down here in the comments.

The Price

All money (Steem Dollars) raised by this post in the first payout period (12 hours) will be distributed amongst the top 3 participants.

  • The story with the most upvotes will get 60% of the collected Steem Dollars
  • The story with the second most upvotes will get 25% of the collected Steem Dollars
  • The story with the third most upvotes will get 15% of the collected Steam Dollars

Regulations

  • No plagiarism
  • To determine the winners, the upvotes on their stories will be counted.
  • Contestants with fake/botted upvotes will be disqualified. If these upvotes were obviously made by one of these annoying spam bots, I will try to exclude these votes from the counter.
  • If no money is collected by this post, no payouts can be made, obviously.
  • Stories that don't relate to the task at all will be disqualified.
  • Every user may only submit one story.
  • This contest ends on the 3. of August 2016, 12PM UTC. Later submissions will not be taken into account.
  • The winners will be announced on the next day, and will receive their prices as well.

Motivation

Lately, there have been a lot of articles saying that people should just write whatever they want, and not to focus on "catching a whale". This is an attempt to bring some attention to quality authors. If the idea is adapted well by the community, this might become a regular thing.

Well then, I'd say let's do this! I'm very excited about reading your submissions!

Now what are you waiting for? Write your own, I'm sure you can beat mine!

Apparently no one cared and I myself was the only contestand, so I'm getting the huge amount of money (0.24$) all for myself. Yay.

Kinda disappointed though.

Hi! This post has a Flesch-Kincaid grade level of 6.3 and reading ease of 79%. This puts the writing level on par with Stephen King and Dan Brown.
