If Steemit has a lot of salaries to pay and has to sell Steem to pay them it should lower the price of Steem which does have an impact on the entire platform.
I think it would be good for Steemit to have less Steem although it will hurt the price in the short run.

Im no crypto genius but this seem like a very strange move for steemit.
Gotta pay salaries and hosting fees etc. Just because Steem goes down doesn't mean their expenses go down.
Interesting research, @mysearchisover,
though I am not interested in some others' wallet state in general.
That's why stock investing so-called ants are dropped by whales' shaking market if the ants didn't schedule the expenses properly.
It's not good to distribute Steem from founders and initial big whales to the public for the long term sustainability of Steem currency.
And in some other senses, moving to another account does not necessarily mean selling at this time.

If that's the case, then it seems like they got to pay a lot. I want to get a salary from them too!
I doubt developers are cheap. I think they have a team of them so I imagine they have to spend at least a million if not $2 million a year on staff.
I don't think they got many.
They have to have at least one or two full time developers I would imagine. I guess they have a merketing guru as well who says they are increasing staff.

OK, that makes sense.
Hookers aren't cheap. Hush money isn't either.
