Today's Livestream Rescheduled
Hey all,
I'm sorry, but I've been fighting something all week and still not feeling well today. I'm pushing back the livestream to Tuesday–same time. Thanks for understanding and see you on the 11th.
Best regards,
Ned
I think what you're feeling is called "shame". It's normal when you've failed as hard as you have.
MY QUESTION IS WHEN DID IT GO FROM 2.5% REDUCTION FOR A PAIR OF 100% UPVOTES TO 3.5% REDUCTION!
If YOU are running down voting power ON A SCHEDULE so the next time YOU run YOU can have full power votes, they just made REDUCED payouts for DAILY USER's RETURNS by 30% each time they vote. Yet Bots which go every 2.5 hours only lose 1% payouts, because they recharge. And don't have the effect of more subtracted power on the voting power.
NO WONDER THE LEASE MARKET SHIFTED DOWNWARDS AND THE BID BOTS ARE ALL TAKING LONGER TO RECHARGE.
Please note I am assuming that the recharge over time is still the same as the lose of power, 18 votes in 24 hours.... if that has gone to less... then we are losing alot more, A REAL LOT MORE....
That is completely CONTRIBUTING TO THE TUMBLING price of Steem compared to the MARKET...... IT'S A DIRTY LITTLE SECRET THE COMMUNITY DID NOT KNOW!!!!
THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN SAID IN BIG BOLD LETTERS BY @NED.
A CEO who does not publish/divulge payout changes prior to implementation to its customers/users in USA and NY is a crime without an immediate exit strategy.
By setting up a voting system and requiring Powerdowns to 13 weeks, they definately are in violation of this!
And Steem is a New York State Corp. this is serious.....
Whoever came up with this solution, better reverse it! They essentially went into all our wallets and stole money. You lock up Steem based on returns of the system at the time!
No official, easily and accessible visible constantly updated publishing of the return formulas. In itself is a violation of the fair trade practice, law of mercantibility, NY falls under Bait and Switch Laws, and in NJ could easily fall under Lemon Laws for large purchases.
@berniesanders OMG LOL!!! You go hard man 🤣🤣🤣
I haven't been here as long as you, so I don't know any of the politics and goings on in the early Steem days etc. I'm just here blogging "hopefully" for a long time. ✌🏾
You can catch shame from asian hookers?
ned doesnt lie with humans
he has a team of sexbots all with his face
Too expensive at the current state..
Steem?
Not Steem, the cyber robot for Steem INC to purchase it ! xD
#destiny
I can't even
Damn, Bernie! Harsh!
:O failed at what?
Wait, is that a joke or are you being serious?
Totally serious, if you mind to explain :)
life
death
suicide
life after death
LMAOOOOOO you guys are horrible! :D ahhahaha
Is it true that "Applying Google Adsense on Steemit platform" has been considered?
it should be on a simple 1 line tagline... thats it...
better to get sponsors instead of adsense...
They pay more and you can vet them easier and control it to something without trackers!
Hello,
Please give me your opinion as to whether we should support Steem dollar pair or SBD dollar pair? My inclination is to support SBD, but I would greatly value your opinion and expertise.
Thank you very much,
@shortsegments
PS
Upvoted for visibility.
What happened. No live stream
It's the new normal. :)
ned's sickness
I was about to ask the very same question.
aww everyone was looking forward to the live stream...bummerrrr
Hopefully they can get it going today.
:(
I've been waiting for the live stream too... rescheduling the rescheduled live stream lol.
Hey @acromott! How you're doing? :-) Yeah, i was really looking forward to this one, too. Let's see what's gonna happen..
I think nothing... remember steemit inc.
The lack of communication is strange. Perhaps Ned is still I'll but surely someone can let us know why the livestream didn't happen again?
Lol, your failure to deliver even on the simplest promises is astounding.
Yeah, about as reliable as when my wife makes me promise to tell her before I cum.
omfg AHAHHAHA
this is literally perfect
Hey @ned you should change the name from SMT-lite to Superdelegates and then not give any to @berniesanders . That is what I did to beat him. Also, pray for some sort of natural disaster so that you can get a bunch of people to donate money then you can funnel it through your own foundation and never give any of it up. It is pretty much pure profit.
What's the difference between Ned's accounts and Hilary's Foundation?
No, not the beginning of a poor joke. Please tell me the honest difference.
Ned won't use his money to buy an expensive wedding dress for a girl that looks like Donkey from the movie Shrek.
But he does give a golden butt plug to many....hell the blockchain even states he funded Grumpy cat from one of his accounts.
Like this?
i never thought id say this
hillary you have my vote
@ned, @andrarchy and company - I am still offering to help steem go from panic selling to panic buying. I will put up 100k USD to start a project aimed at the price of steem and I want steem inc to make a matching grant of 100k worth of tokens (call it 400,000 tokens at the current price).
I would be willing to agree to not sell these tokens. I will also give you 3 months of business consulting as part of the deal.
I made you this offer when the price of steem was just under $1 USD and it would have only cost you 100,000 tokens.
If you don't take me up on this offer, I will offer it again when steem is .10 and it will cost you 1,000,000 tokens to match my $100,000 USD.
Please do yourself (and everyone else) a favor and take me up on my VERY GENEROUS offer.
If any group of whales want to pony up that will work also.
Best Regards,
Dreamryder007
How exactly would you plan on raising the price of steem? Aside from doing actual buying on a major exchange, I am not sure how much you could actually impact things?
I doubt your offer is any good, but here's an upvote in case it's any good. Even in the worst case scenario, it's way better to whatever @ned has in mind, which is either to do nothing or something totally stupid.
I will make a @ned a can't lose offer on his live stream for all to see. Now whether or not he takes it, is on him.
Why dont you buy steem on an exchange

Unsurprising. Just being real, I mean you left it to this late to update us? Feel better, do better and keep working on them communication skills: Honoring your word.
Re: the last stream I've been watching since waiting for you to show up.
Manscaping on fleek said my missus lol. Perhaps off set the laptops, you don't need no extra visual barriers. The single you punched into for the last 10mins felt much better and may help with defusing the awkward body language.
"My natural mode of communication is verbal".. really bro?
Just kidding. Man just relax and let your truth flow. Aside from that, decent effort. Andrew could have had more speaking time if there was a known time limit to hear what he's about. Otherwise what was the point?
Anyway that's the feedback from my house. Perhaps with such a vast subject matter it's just gonna be a process of documenting and getting it out. For you and the wider community both.
Will look forward to Tuesday and see how you choose to respond to the critical and valid concerns of the community in the comments.
Don't try to bullshit us man, just lay it out straight. We don't need no guitars, the inner peace will be knowing if our investment in STEEM is safe or not!
Nice to know the top comment on Ned's posts aren't so negative!
Doing my best to see him where he's at.
He don't need no more yes men around.
Real families out here, keep it real @ned.
So just putting out this FYI... you've managed to reschedule your livestream to coincide with the stated time for the next Witness Chat in the Steemit Ramble... that's something we've been doing monthly since about April.
So, I've changed the Witness Chat to Wednesday at Noon EST / 5pm UTC. Would be really nice if you have to reschedule that you don't manage to land on that time please.
All Witnesses, regardless of rank, are invited to attend this chat with the community. If the livestream goes ahead as scheduled, should be an interesting chat the following day.
Link to the Ramble is in my signature.

The current Rambling Radio Schedule can be found here
It's All About Community!
how many rambles does it take to be rambling or to be classed as a rambler?
As long as you ramble into the Steemit Ramble.. do we care? :)
Good to know!
Hey @ned
I would really like to come back to Steemit, but since vote selling replaced all the curation groups, I can't afford to receive votes here.
Can you please make receiving votes free again, so I can create a post?
So, you are offering the community a chance to give you free upvotes? How pleasant. Wonder how we can let that opportunity pass us by. :)
I get your point, but this just comes off as funny.
I assumed that creating content was enough, but I can't believe you want me to go get a full time job too.
Why would you assume that blogging on Steemit would FULLY substitute any job?
You obviously misunderstood the comment.
He clearly means that you need a full time job in order to get anywhere on this platform. Just look at the trending page, as if anyone there has received those rewards for free...
And I am saying, why do you think this platform should reward bloggers who have invested little or no money with enough compensation to consider it a full time job?
Payouts and rewards are for getting cryptocurrency into more people's hands, through 'proof of brain', not for fairly compensating content.
You have to build your presence on here, invest in more steem power so you have more voting power, this attracts others to you and you grow organically. Obviously the better content the more potential rewards you will get, but no one is owed anything. This is an experiment, one you have an opportunity to be a big part of, but it takes time.
The actual social media aspect of steem should be looked at as influencers and companies creating there individual marketing and advertising campaigns, and will be where a majority of author rewards will be generated from simply because they will have invested the most $ into powering up Steem.
Because having invested a lot doesn't mean that your posts are any good. I'd rather see someone rewarded who has put effort into his posts.
Uhm what? Proof of brain means that posts should get rewards for the merit they offer, not because the author has invested a lot.
I somewhat disagree, sure you have to build your presence, like on any other platform, but you don't need to invest anything. I very much enjoy @steevc's content for example and he hasn't invested a dime in powering up. Does his content not deserve any rewards because he hasn't invested? That's just one example.
Also, you talk about 'organic growth', if you need to invest in order to grow, that's literally the opposite of organic growth.
That's where I completely disagree. You want a system that's completely pay to play? A platform where the whales get all the votes, just because they're colluding with each other to make themselves and their friends richer?
You're entitled to that opinion of course, but we aren't going to see mass adoption with that mindset. Imagine if people had to spend thousands of dollars, just to get an account on Medium or otherwise their posts wouldn't be seen by anyone. yeah I don't think that's such a great system.
I'm not saying that people shouldn't get any return on their investment, but that's supposedly what curation rewards are for.
This is not my opinion. This is from the mouth of the creator of Steemit and the Steem blockchain @ned in a video he posted last week.
Proof of brain is just proof you are a brain, not that you write intelligently. He says this is his concept because eventually it gets more people to have ANY amount of crypto.
Also, organic means without spending money on advertising for growth.
All of your stated opinions are 'what you would rather see', I am just giving you the reality of it.
It is not about what I want, it is what it is.
I have actually invested since money in Steem, but it's a tiny amount compared with what I have earned. We really do need investment to give Steem more perceived value, but the value of a post or comment should definitely not depend on the finances of the creator. Steem offers great opportunities for those who don't have much to gain from whatever skills and talents they have. Those with the money can gain from curation and by offering services, although you know I'm not a fan of selling votes.
If we just imagine that Steem could reach the level of Medium or Quora and become a default place to seek information then it could be seen as valuable. There should still be a place for our more personal blogging as well as the video, audio, photography aspects.
I want to see it achieve this potential.
because content is a multi billion dollar industry and the traffic directed towards steemit due to that content lead the value of steem to rise but due to sell off since day one all the value brought by content is funnelled to steemit inc and co because they deserve the majority of rewards for building a content medium
times are rough, do what you need to do. :)
