@ned,

Can we get an update on what the current team priorities are and when items laid out in the 2017 road map are expected to launch?

I'm specifically very interested in 'communites'.

Thank you,

@leongkhan

Ha, thanks. I'm here to try to add value. Thanks for the strong upvote!

Would like to see todays meeting view; getting bigger still?

I must say; VERY FEW updates from our commander; would be good to see a lot more dialog from you ;-)
Cheers

Careful, bigger isn't always better. Small focused teams can execute quickly.

Hopefully at least two of them are finally UI/UX and marketing professionals!

If this had come from anyone else, I might have thought it was snark. LOL, thanks for the vote.. of "confidence" :D

Well, it's hard to find good help!
@ned

It's really not so bad, but there are a lot of things to be done, without even considering additional features. So many things could be done just to supplement the current ones, that would enhance usability with fundamental expectations, like various sorts on followers or following lists, and color coding of the buttons within those sections for faster visual scanning of follow and unfollow toggles. Things of that nature abound through the system in terms of immediate low hanging fruit, that it routinely shocks me we are at over 30,000 daily active users and so few are raising suggestions and dare I say complaints. I see enhancements on nearly every page, any of which are surely not more than a day or two's dev work, and some even less, based on my roughly 30 years of tech and software development organization roles and leadership positions as a basis for this one man's opinion.

As a former director of technology on a fairly sizeable social network multi-million dollar software project, I've got to agree though, finding good help AND affording them, is not as easy as it might seem.

Thank's for sharing Ned, good to see that the team is expending. This can only mean things are going well! Less is sometimes more and this post says a lot.

I wonder what it will look like when the whole screen is filled up with people. And everyone trying to say something at the same time. It will be hilarious.

i agree

Yeah. Have you tried putting 2 phones in a call right next to the mic?

Ned I think you will need a bigger screen soonish, to fit everyone on LOL.

Have a good day.

I would definitely agree 55" minimum

we will be over 650000 people on Steemit at the end of this year!

Asi es....muy interesante esta comunidad!!!

I QUITE AGREE WITH YOU

This is very similar to the team meeting for the company I work for, with people over 10 time zones.
