Zion national park in Arizona (USA)
The "Subway" in Zion national park in Arizona (USA). At this place, the torrent has carved a softer rock level giving this tunnel aspect to the site. Access to this area is a bit delicate (more than 2 hours on an uneasy path) and I did it at night hoping to be alone up there early morning. The reward was there since I was able to enjoy this exceptional site several hours before seeing the first visitor. The best time for the photo is when sunlight is reflected on the opposite wall of the canyon and enters the tunnel to create this unreal effect. And the colors of autumn leaves in the river add to the beauty of the place.
