Steemit versus Golos - The Chess Match - A Cross Platform Showcase. Move #8

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Welcome to our cross platform chess match in which we explore and showcase the ability of the Steemit platform to transcend its own boundaries by playing a game of chess with the Russian speaking world via the Golos platform.

Here's the current position:

A rare version of the Queens Gambit Declined. I'll be interested to see what Steemit makes of this position.

Apologies for the delay. Various issues and the desire to wait for the 'experiment' to be over slowed things down. Hopefully now I'll be able to post more regularly.

Mission

This will be a 'one off' game between Golos and Steemit. The main benefit is that if hundreds of people can use Steemit to interact with something outside of Steemit, more of the world will see what this technology is capable of.

You can play for fun, for pride or for money.

I am the final judge in all matters.

I promise to act with complete honesty

In the last game I noted some dummy accounts and multiple accounts held by the same owner were used to manipulate the vote. I will not allow this. Also, votes from non active users may be ignored at my discretion.

It's your move Steemit!

Seriously, I thought Russians were good at chess!

I won the whale vote contest - watch out! Good things coming!

What did I miss?

Oh, thought this was a dead thread already. Since it did not have a lot of user feedback.

Not dead. I just had some real life things to take care of and was also waiting to see whether the 'experiment' ended.

Sorry, it's been a while. What colour are we!

Steemit is black.
