Opportunities in Steemit at the Difficult Times
What do you do in difficult times? The deeper question, what is the difficult time? Is it hard now?
Well, I tried to make a list of some reasons why some people are now called the hard times:
- The price of Steem Dollars (SBD) drops even to Rp21.000 per so that Steemians income decreases drastically.
- The value of the vote also declined sharply.
- Not many give me vote. Members of the community only give voting to certain people.
- I am a newbie. Not too familiar with how to manage Steemit.
- And many other negative aspects that seem increasingly assert that now is a difficult time.
Change your perspective
A conclusion can change when we change the outlook. The rule also applies in Steemit. How to change the perspective of difficult situations?
You newly joined in Steemit since mid-2017 or early 2018, certainly never had a more difficult time. The most difficult period is when _hardfork_ 17, beginning of 2017 then. At that time, every post did not get paid at all. Some whale in Steemit is now getting rewards up to hundreds of SBDs, by then getting the lowest rewards or even not getting at all.
However, they still diligently make posts. They do not play in Steemit for pragmatic interests like getting a profit. Now, their consistency and creativity have paid off. Do not look at them right now, but try to backtrack, see their activity in difficult times. A far-flung view of whale should provide the spirit and motivation to remain productive and creative in Steemit.
What is hardfork?
Hardfork is a situation that occurs when the developer team changes the application to a new system followed by a number of changes. Not all hardfork in Steemit harm. Steemians who were active during Ramadan last year, felt the blessings of Ramadan with the increase in post value drastically. So, let’s pray that the next hardfork is also profitable.
A little, but still get paid
Although SBD now ranges from Rp31,600 per SBD, the price is still much higher than in the past which reached Rp13.000 per SBD. Do not compare with SBD worth Rp280,000. Look down so we are more grateful. A little is still better than nothing.
Gratitude can also be grown by comparing Steemit with other social media that does not provide benefits in material form. Why should I get discouraged to get a little reward whereas in other social media does not get anything?
Advantages in difficult times
The fall in the value of Steem and SBD is not a difficult situation. See it as an opportunity, not a threat. Try learning to invest in Steemit. Not always investment requires capital. When you hear the word investment, you do not always have to buy SBD or Steem then do trading to get profit.
