Introducing Steemit-Appreciates-You. A Project to Appreciate People Who Create Values for The Network.

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

Some people have built helpful tools for the network. some offer supportive aids to other users. some checkmate abnormalities in the network, some mentor new users. Some create quality contents, but are not seen. Etc. I have decided that we shall reward them with a token of appreciation.

I'm doing this because appreciation encourages people and motivate them to do more. Their good works are helping the network and we need them to keep it up.

How It Works

                                     One

Every week, we shall reward two people for the values they create here.

                                       Two

Every Tuesdays and Fridays, I shall make a post where users will nominate who deserves to be appreciated.

                                   Three

One person submits only one nomination.

                                   Four

Submission of a nominee should contain a detailed information on why the person deserves to be appreciated.

                                 Five

Support a nominee by texting "supported" in reply to the nomination.

                                Six

The nominee with the highest support emerges as the winner.

                               Seven

On Mondays and Thursdays, I will make a post of appreciation for the respective winners.

                              Eight

All the liquid payouts for this post will be transferred to 10 newbies that the winner appoints.

The initial idea was to give the person we are appreciating all the liquid payouts. wever, because most of them have earned some reasonable amount of Steem here, we shall be using it to encourage minnows.

                            Nine

I will transfer 10% of the liquid payouts for the nomination post to the person whose nomination emerged as the winner.

This project is to appreciate people for the extra value they create for the network. It does not in any way represent a payment for their services. It is only a tap at the back, aimed to cheer them up and encourage them to keep up with the good work.

The first nomination post will come up on Friday 8th June.

This project is initiated by me @ogoowinner. But it can only hold weights if you support it. I used the phrase "we shall reward them" because, I'm not personally rewarding them, it is our collective effort.

If you support this project, please Resteem for more publicity.

If you have suggestions, please leave a feedback in the comment below.

Together We Shall Make Steemit Great.

Full Support for the project, Full Steem ahead!

@oluwoleolaide, thank you. I need suggestions to make it better.

@htooms gifted me with some high voting power and i decided to visit you with some sis😊

Wow! Thanks so much bro.

Most welcome dear sis.

Nice! I'm all for appreciation. Long Live Steem!

@monkimo, thanks for this.

Seems interesting!... What do you mean by "extra value"?...

What I mean here is that they do things more than just blogging, or focusing on their interests alone. They create value for the community through extra efforts they put in to develop tools, help other steemians and so on.

Mmm cool! :D

This is a great idea :))

@ogoowinner You're Welcome :)) Anytime I can help , let me know

@cheekybuggy, thanks so much. I shall follow back.

Great idea

I know you must be one of the happiest people to be around because it seems you are always putting others before yourself! Great idea @ogoowinner.

Hi ogoowinner,

'Steemit Appreciates You' is a wonderful idea!

I see alot of valuable blogs on Steemit,
but they aren't getting the publicity they deserve.

So your idea is briliant, let's help the other Steemers get noticed!

@phrase, thanks for appreciating this. You could also make suggestions for possible amendments.

Good idea, supporting!
