Correlation between the daily number of posts and Steem's price
Welcome to my Steem Stats Report for Friday, June 16, 2017. All data is coming directly from the Steem blockchain and is based on UTC time.
I've added the price of Steem to the chart of the daily number of posts below. The price correlated very well with the number of posts until a few days ago. The number of posts skyrocketed to nearly 100,000 while the price of Steem went down a bit. Possibly because Bitcoin lost over 10% of its value yesterday (Steem is being traded in BTC). Is Steem undervalued right now?

Great analysis. It's comforting to see since as I bought a bunch of more Steem yesterday thinking that it is undervalued and being dragged down with the rest of the crypto market.

I cannot see any independent price discovery for steem yet, maybe after fork 19 the correlation of posts(value)/replies/new steemers will be clearer, thanks for posting.
