Welcome to my Steem Stats Report for Thursday, June 29, 2017. All data is coming directly from the Steem blockchain and is based on UTC time.
I noticed that a total of 1,584,952,048 STEEM was sent over the blockchain yesterday, which is much more than normal. Interesting of course... Who sends such big amounts?
Fortunately, nothing can be hidden on the blockchain. @ned transferred 893,201 Steem to @firefire yesterday. That's an extraordinary amount of $1,688,149! @firefire was created yesterday and maybe @ned created it himself. We don't know...

Hi, Do you parse the blockchain or use steemdb? If blockchain what tools or programming language do you use?
I parse the data directly from the blockchain with a PHP script.
People are transferring their stock from btc and ether to steem and this is a great sign for the steemit community @penguinpablo
I'm guessing it's more the case of people playing arbitrage between poloniex and bitrex. If the transactions drop tomorrow then I was definetely correct :D
Slight intra-day slowdown in growth.
But it's interesting to compare to other chains. Bitcoin has been dropping in transactions per day since early June, this is likely due to consolidation/batching of transactions by major exchanges such as Kraken. There may also be an element of users leaving due to fees but it's not clear. Ethereum has been essentially flat since 11 June. The others have largely been declining since May or early/mid June.
I'd be interested to see what other chains are still continuing to grow in network usage the last few days while the markets have been cooling.
Thanks for the information, such huge amount. Your doing a great job.

I greatful to follow you...you push out such great information..I congratulate you friend thanks for that info. I've noticed Spiks in your charts. If all goes well steemit will have no more long curves and we will all post along the spiks 😎
.
Interesting find on the steem transfer! Looks like it might just be testing though
I wish the admin of steemit would find a way to fix problems like this. problems like when the population is rising.
Stats show the community is really growing. I love steemit
