8. Steem Price Update
¯\___(ツ)____/¯ Don't miss out on my next post! Follow me @penguinpablo
A lot will of been due to the fork. May i suggest doing a monthly post, as well as the weekly ones, that shows a monthly graph or even longer, would be nice to get a bigger picture
I agree, or some form of Quarterly report (Q1,Q2...-yaknow) and then at the end of the year a review of the whole year :)
Yes indeed, it's picking up STEEM :)
Looks al great! The increase of activity and new signups as well. Only the price is less satisfactory, but this will follow soon. Or is the inflation to high?
The inflation rate of Steem is the same as before hard fork 19. The price is lower indeed. I don't think it is related to Steem itself, because most other cryptocurrencies are down as well.
This is actually the case. We aren't receiving less STEEM. It's just that the value of STEEM has declined for the past couple weeks. On the plus side most of the minnows/dolphins have seen a sharped increase in the value of their upvotes since HF19 irrespective. Power on :)
It's fascinating seeing how much little has been converted from SBD to steem for the week but on the flip side how much has been converted to steempower instead. That's my goal it's to keep my SBD and convert to steempower rather than convert to USD.
YES! My strategy as well @penname! I'm still brand new, but reading a lot of posts and finding those i want to follow!
I'm doing the same through the internal market by selling the SBD's for steem then powering up from there. I seem to get more steem for my SBD's by doing this rather than converting it straight up through your wallet. What are you doing if I may ask? I'm somewhat new and am always lookin' for a better way?
I've been mining ethereum and then converting that to BTC and then to steem. I figure the steempower is worth more than ethereum. It's only about .13 ethereum a week plus whatever I get from steem posts.
A new circle of people joined steemit and also the high rewards was the reason. But due to huge dip in rewards we will see less posts in next week. I will be looking for your next update on weekly posts.
This comment has received a 0.28 % upvote from @booster thanks to: @cryptokraze.
That's insane seeing everything growing so nicely :) especially the # of posts and upvotes!
LoL, you're gonna get cheetah on you soon if you keep that comment going for long. :'D
LoL :)
I hope to copy paste that line for at least the next 52 weeks :)
👍
;)
Can I suggest adding an Alexa rank to your posts as well? Been insane following it lately!
That's a good one! I'll add it in my next update (Monday).
Have you seen Steemit on Google Trends?
https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=Steemit
WOW! mainstreem here we come! :D
@Acidyo & @PenguinPablo... LoL... Maybe we can all pitch in and buy PenguinPablo a Telsa or Ferrari so Cheetah won't catch him any time soon.
Hey Pablo, what is Your preference... Telsa or Ferrari... also what color... if You choose the Ferrari You almost have to get the traditional Fire Engine RED...
Thanks Pablo 4 Your ongoing Posts with so many cool facts & stats !!
And Thank You Acidyo 4 making the cheetah comment... it got my mind racing (( Pun intended ))
Have a Great Weekend !!
Believe me I am glad that more and more people join to Steemit, but to be honest some aspects after the Fork are annoying.
If I compare the posts before and after the Fork, i have sadly to say, that the spams and trashposts exaggeratedly increased.
If I click to New now, it is much harder to find quality content than before. I know that more steemit user = more posts (trash posts included).
But the relation between quality content and "trash/spam content" is not the same after the HF. so many spams and newcomer want to post as many things as possible to get some $...
I would prefer less daily posts with quality content than actually what happens right now.
Hope that we can change that in future...
Yes, indeed. I noticed that too.
A few filter options for the New page would be very useful. Especially an option to filter by reputation. I've made such a filter on my site Steemnow.com, but I would like to see this implemented on Steemit.com as well.
Great work @penguinpablo! Thanks for making these impressive numbers available! Now the noticeable changes on the platform do make sense.
I'm still not familiar with my new daily voting power distribution, so I've spent too much during the past days. The only thing I could give you right now (since my VP needs to recover still) is a resteem :) But that comes totally from the heart. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the resteem to your 1505 followers. I appreciate it :)
Crazy numbers! Haha! My pleasure :-)
Great news. I will want to see a statistics that measures the positive impact of new entrants into steemit community. I will also want to know the churn rate or the rate people drop out of steemit.
