In Case You Missed It: @dan Potentially Working On "Steem 2.0" Built On EOS

Posting because I definitely missed it. Found it on Twitter here.

What are your thoughts Steemians? If @dan does release a new blockchain social network on EOS are you going to try it out? What sort of angle do you think it'll take? For example will it be like Steemit/Reddit, or more like Twitter or Facebook? Or maybe it'll feel entirely new?

Personally I kind of suspect it might aim for the Facebook style platform given there's more and more people looking for an alternative. Facebook is likely going to dive into crypto/blockchain tech by the end of this year or next year, so there's a window of opportunity there to pitch a blockchain backed Facebook alternative before Facebook launches their blockchain projects.

I'm not sure the best way to get updates about the project, but I'd definitely be interested in trying it out depending on what kind of platform its aiming to be. Guess I'll just have to bookmark @dan's Twitter until this mysterious project has a name :P
