Why would I invest money into a social media platform that allows people to lie, cheat and steal when that could be prevented with a little bit of code ?

Literally every time you post you're going to be downvoted until no one can see your stupid ass ramblings of testing and whatnot. You aren't testing anything, You're being an immature prick who frankly seems to have formed some type of delusion that a single line of code he found is some exploit.
Pro-tip: Your account is a write off. But I welcome you to start another one and act like a mature, civilized human being instead of some friggin whacked out idiot who either needs to lay off the smack or go google how to act around people.

You need to learn to respect people, Respect is something you earn around here (and even IRL too, if you ever went outside) and with that being said when you decide you want to be a decent human being we'll gladly have you back..
So you admit that flagging can be abused? lol quit playing dumb. You really have nothing to say. The personal insults aren't counterpoints.
Flagging is only abused by people who do not understand how to use the system or when people use the flag to try and cover up information they don't agree with.
For example. If someone posts crude scat pornography and I don't want anyone else to have to see that shit (literally) I'd flag it.
However, You don't see anyone but new users untrained in STEEM customs or trolls flagging shit just with no regard for anything or anyone.
Think for a second. How would it feel if you spent hours on a post that meant something to you only to have some dipshit come and flag it for no reason?
It'd feel pretty shitty huh? Stop doing that to people, apologize to the community for your lack of understanding and grace and move on to amount to something great here...
Flagging can and is only abused by idiots. Despite your ass getting tanned by the community I bet you'll find we;re actually pretty easy to get a long with once you stop mis-using the flagging system.. Just some food for thought.
I appologize for the name calling.. But nothing pisses me off more than assholes who come onto my network and cause hurt in others simply because they can. That doesn't fly here. Hopefully this is a better explanation than me calling you a dickhead and telling you to grow up.
