স্ট্রোক অাজ অকালে কেড়ে নিচ্ছে মানুষের প্রান৷ যদি দেখেন কারো স্ট্রোক হচ্ছে তাহলে রোগীকে বাঁচানোর জন্য আপনাকে জরুরীভিত্তিতে নিম্নলিখিত পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করতে হবে-

যখন কেউ স্ট্রোকে আক্রান্ত হয় তখন তার রক্তচাপ বেড়ে যায়, মস্তিষ্কে রক্তক্ষরন হয় ও মস্তিষ্ক কোষ ধীরে ধীরে প্রসারিত হয়। এসময় একজন মানুষের জরুরী ভিত্তিতে ফার্স্ট এইড এবং বিশ্রামের প্রয়োজন হয়।

যদি স্ট্রোকে আক্রান্ত রোগী দেখেন তবে তাকে তাৎক্ষনিক সরানো যাবে না কারন মস্তিষ্কে রক্তক্ষরণ বিস্ফোরিত হতে পারে, এটা ভাল হবে যদি আপনার বাড়ীতে পিচকারি সুই থাকে, অথবা সেলাই সুই থাকলেও চলবে, আপনি কয়েক সেকেন্ডের জন্য আগুনের শিখার উপরে সুচটিকে গরম করে নেবেন যাতে করে এটি জীবাণুমুক্ত হয়৷

তারপর রোগীর হাতের ১০ আঙ্গুলের ডগার নরম অংশে ছোট ক্ষত বা বিদ্ধ করতে এটি ব্যবহার করুন। এমনভাবে করুন যাতে প্রতিটি আঙুল থেকে রক্তপাত হয়, কোন অভিজ্ঞতা বা পূর্ববর্তী জ্ঞানের প্রয়োজন নেই। কেবলমাত্র নিশ্চিত করুন যে আঙ্গুল থেকে যথেষ্ট পরিমাণে রক্তপাত হচ্ছে কি না। এবার ১০ আঙ্গুলের রক্তপাত চলাকালীন, কয়েক মিনিটের জন্য অপেক্ষা করুন দেখবেন ধীরে ধীরে রোগী সুস্থ হয়ে উঠছে।

যদি আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তির মুখ বিকৃত হয় তাহলে তার কানে ম্যাসাজ করুন।এমনভাবে তার কান ম্যাসাজ করুন যাতে ম্যাসাজের ফলে তার কান লাল হয়ে যায় এবং এর অর্থ হচ্ছে কানে রক্ত পৌঁছেছে। তারপর প্রতিটি কান থেকে দুইফোঁটা রক্ত পড়ার জন্য প্রতিটি কানের নরম অংশে সুচ ফুটান। কয়েক মিনিট অপেক্ষা করুন দেখবেন মুখ আর বিকৃত হবে না। কিছুক্ষণ অপেক্ষা করে রোগীর অবস্থা একটু স্বাভাবিক হলে যথাসম্ভব তাড়াতাড়ি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করান।

জীবন বাঁচাতে রক্তক্ষয়ের এই পদ্ধতি চীনে প্রথাগতভাবে চিকিৎসার অংশ হিসেবে ব্যবহার হয়ে আসছে। এই পদ্ধতির ব্যবহারিক প্রয়োগ, ১০০% কার্যকরী হিসেবে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে।
