[Hip-Hop | Trip-Hop | House] Patience EP and why I'm losing touch with Steemit

Good Morning/Afternoon my dear folks!

It's been a while since I've posted..
And there's a reason behind that. Firstly, I've been working on music, social media, university and other stuff that might become something in the near future. My recent EP (Extended Playlist, like a short album) was released half a month ago, and you can find it on most platforms with the following link: http://hyperurl.co/patience_ep

The big talk now comes in play: Why I'm losing touch with this platform?
If you check my page, you'll realise that with 80 followers, my comments on other people's post reach more users than my posts. Even when I promote them by getting them reposted by bigger users.

Steemit is a great platform, and Steem is a great blockchain. No criticism towards that. And I expected trolls or bad users to be the biggest issue with the platform, but it turns out it's the difference between whales and small users like me. When you got the Steem power to promote your post, people will like and comment on it regardless of how interesting or good it is, just to get some part of the value created. Whereas small posts like this one will be ignored. Do people even use the "new" thread?

Any ways, Steemit is only at the 'child' state, and will grow very soon into something bigger. I just hope it doesn't overshadow small users with the huge!

I'll try and post more often than I am right now.. If Steemit is about quantity and not quality, I'll find something for you guys!

Keep your cool, hope you the best!

don't give up and keep on posting quality articles and all will grow....

it's not the growth my G. I've seen the followers come slowly but surely. My issue is the lack of actual following. My number of follower doesn't represent in any ways how much support I get. This post is a week old, and it's got 3 votes man. 1 of them is mine... and I've got 68 followers my G. That irritates me. And it killed how much interest I had for the platform :/

Nothing comes easy but if you continue to interact it will get better and better
Look at my first account @mammasitta
It took me 2 !!!! Years. My first pay out 75 cents while others made thousands
