Is Steemit Energy Consumption More Efficient Than Bitcoin?

You’ve probably heard that bitcoin is using a lot of energy. A lot of different types of suggestions are being offered in order to try and find a solution to the problem. If Steemit is using a system that uses much less energy, that could really catapult this currency to the next level.
