Steemit Sucks
This is a small post about why steemit sucks !!!!
Look at the following picture.
People just posting some you tube video (i know its their own) getting several votes and steems !! This really sucks.
I don't even want to post about how much the UI Sucks.
The algorithm that give ranks to better content also goes the same way down.
Where is the awesome content ????? (Come on guys, you are competing with Quora, Reddit etc. ) Just giving steems or bucks to the content creator does not suffice.
This is pretty awesome concept and I would love to see it rising. But this is clearly not working.
Yeah I agree with this, people are posting for the sake of posting, no actual meaningful content. I think the way they've structured their incentives is all wrong.
It seems they're just trying to quantity of content rather than quality, it's going to take tackling some of these issues before they can compete with reddit or quora.
Their search facility and layout is also pretty poor, I guess that's why it says it's in beta.

I totally agree with you. We are competing against Quora and Reddit which are far better than Steemit because of QUALITY CONTENT.
