Success On Steemit Part 2: What to do next?

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

In this Post I will explain the next step to climbing up the steemit ladder to success!

In this post I will be sharing part 2 of my process in hopes that it will help someone. If you are new I hope you read my first post on Quality Content! If not here is the link so you can read it first.

Now that everyone has read y first post let's move on to the topic of today to achieve Steemit success.

Engagement

Engagement with other users is what helps get you noticed. Nobody wants to be the only one talking in a conversatio. Its the same thing on here. You have to be active in the community first of so everyone knows you are here but also to show everyone your value.

Comment Under Others Post- When others see that you add meaningful comments under their post it shows then you are active and have a interest in what they have to say. This is the second best way in my opinion to start building a following right behind posting valuable content.

Resteeming their high quality content- Not only does it get you noticed but it offers more great content for your followers to read. Keeps your current base engaged as well.

Respond to all comments under your post- The community that comments under the content you write obviously has a interest in what you have to say. Start a conversation with them and if you like what they have to say, and they post some good content FOLLOW THEM!

Follow Others- In the beginning you should try to stick to a ratio of 1:1 following/followed if  possible. If not the numbers are not really that important. The KEY should be to try and build relationships with those who you find to be interesting. You will weed out and unfollow those you don't see as wanting to build meaningful friendships. There are those who only care about making a quick Buck.

A following on Steemit should not be something you expect to build overnight. Take your time and organically build your following and you will see the benefits of that patience.  Its like the same rule for your content as your followers.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. If  you feel your Followers would benefit from it, please feel free to Resteem it. If you like the post on my Blog please feel free to follow me

Yea I try to tell people leave the memes for facebook lol. Thank you for the resteem. Ill check out your blog now and follow you

You're absolutely right that what I learnt in 17 days on steemit, sometimes the author ignore my comment but some kind people do reply and I appreciate thier appreciation. We are here to learn new things know new ideas and have discussions with open minded people thats the moral from the community . But people who came here to get followers and follow back they are in the wrong place

Exactly !!!! Im glad you are of the same mind frame

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Steem on and prosper! Love ❤️ u
