In 3 months, I am blessed to have achieved 5,000 followers.
If I only had a penny for every time someone asked me if they could contact me on Facebook, I have always answered that I may end up being the only one on the planet eventually without an account.
Steemit is my first and only social media account and I'm loving it! The idea of being rewarded for interesting content, curation rewards, while meeting people from all over the globe is very compelling.
There are many investment options to earn and grow money on Steemit and as you can see via the open ledger wallet system, it works well for me.
The Steemit community is a modern platform that utilizes block chain technology to connect and share universal ideologies.

What I realize that people on Facebook are comfortable with the Facebook system. Here on the Steem platform, there is a version of Twitter and YouTube. All that is needed is a Facebook app. That is what will get the converts
I am a journalist. Currently journalism is no longer ideal for journalists because many media owners interfere. The emergence of steemit social media today can replace the press that is not neutral anymore. idealistic journalists can come up with good journalistic work without the slightest intervention of media owners. I'm sure steemit would be ideal for honest journalists
I'm actively working to get my FB communities to move over here to Steemit. Progress is slow but necessary.

Before coming on Steemit, I have wasted my time on Facebook.
Congrats on 5.000 followers and on not having a Facebook account. I had one but deleted it a few months back. It was the best decision I ever made.

I am coming here to steemit more and more now and leaving fb behind and use it only to post my steem posts. You have a lot of followers, that's amazing...
Facebook is a common media all over the world among all class of people. Now many people want some new thing for better experience. Steemit will that thing in a few days.
I think we still need to promote Steemit on Facebook and other Social media, this is what i am currently doing.

I despise FaceBook and everything linked to it (great work for never joining) but it looks like there is not a lot of people that was spared in the data harvesting controversy. Even your Whatsapp could have been compromised.
Since I joined steemit I’ve feleted Facebook, Instagram and reddit apps off my phone! I don’t see the point in using them anyomore the content I did get from those olatforms was so mediocre and I realize how much time I wasted using it in a personal capacity
I do still have accounts because im a digital marketer and I run ads on those platforms for clients but it’s safe to say that space is dead to me on a personal level
Loving steemit and the community so supportive and I’m finding loads of great content along the way
